Hello people, today I’m going to write about a board game, that I like so much, because its really fun to play, let me introduce you, Catan, best board game ever, actually the real name is “The settlers of Catan”, but everybody just call him Catan, this game its about build, trade and gain resources, the basic version of this game, allows four players, but it has a lot of expansions packs, like the “explorers and pirates”, the “cities and knights” or the “Traders and barbarians”, with this expansions, the game allows to play 5 or even 6 players, and every expansion pack introduce a new ways to play the game.
The game consist on build cities next to resources and play the dice to extract those resources, there is five types of resources, wheat, rock, bricks, wood and sheeps, with these resources you can upgrade your towns into cities and expand your “empire” with roads to build another town, the funny thing of this game it’s the trading, because the game force the player to trade with the other to get the resource they need, so the game requires a lot of trading skills, you can take advantage from the other player when you have a lot a resources, and make really a good deal to you, but the others can do the same, so watch out, maybe next time we can play Catan, what do you say?
